5-(3-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)imidazolidine-2,4-dione is a compound that has been shown to stabilize DNA. It is a potent inhibitor of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) by inhibiting the tyrosine kinase enzyme and thereby preventing the proliferation of leukemia stem cells. 5-(3-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)imidazolidine-2,4-dione also inhibits the oxidative DNA damage in human cells caused by hydrogen peroxide.
